We are implementing a change to our service that will limit the retention period for documents stored in personal archives. The change is made to clarify the use of the service.
The change applies to private individuals using the Visma Sign service, who have received signature requests and the signed documents have been stored in the signatory's personal archive.
The change does not affect the document archives of companies using Visma Sign, or documents that have been purchased prepaid and sent via the service by private individuals.
In the future documents signed as a representative of an organisation not affiliated to Visma Sign will be kept for 3 months, and documents signed as a private individual for 12 months. If the signatory wishes to get access to a document after the expiry of the retention period, they need to contact the sender of the signature request.
We will update this announcement once the change has been made. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service.
