In Visma Sign, you can sign with strong authentication, which means that the signer's identity is verified using a strong authentication method, such as bank credentials or mobile certificate.
In Visma Sign, you can sign strongly with authentication methods from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands. Citizen certificate cannot be used for authentication in Visma Sign. The invitation sender determines the signing method, and the signer cannot influence it.
Please note that the signing method is always determined by the invitation sender, and the recipient cannot change it. If you do not have a supported strong authentication method, you can request the sender to provide a new invitation with light signing.
How does signing happen?
The Visma Sign invitation is sent to you by the sender via email or sms, and it is opened through the link in the message. You can first open the link and review the document. Then you select your preferred authentication method. All authentication methods available in Visma Sign are accessible at this stage. After making your selection, authentication occurs in the same way as anywhere else.
After authentication, you automatically return to Visma Sign and can next finalize the signature. Your signature mark will appear on the document, containing your name as it appears in the authentication channel you selected.
