The account admin can terminate the company's Visma sign subscription in settings under the subscription tab.
If you terminate the subscription, your organisation account will be closed and you or anyone else in your organisation can no longer have access to the account. All your organisation’s documents should be downloaded before the account closes, as they will be deleted after that in accordance with the data deletion policy. When you end your subscription, all active connections from Visma sign to other services will be terminated.
If you don't see the "terminate subscription" option on the subscription tab in your account settings, please contact your account admin or our customer support team to cancel your account by sending an email to support.sign@visma.com.
What is the notice period for a monthly subscription?
Monthly licenses have a one-month notice period. The notice period starts at the end of the calendar month in which the account was terminated.
What is the notice period for an annual subscription?
Annual subscriptions, on the other hand, must be cancelled before the start of the new subscription period to avoid automatic renewal. If you wish to cancel a yearly subscription in the middle of the contract period and close your account immediately, please contact customer service. Please note that an annual subscription will be billed for the whole year at the beginning of the subscription period. If a subscription is cancelled before the end of the subscription period, no refunds can be given for invoices incurred in advance, and terminating the subscription in the middle of the period does not affect billing.
What should I do before closing the account?
We recommend that you download your documents from the archive (documents section) before cancelling your Visma sign account, as the original of an electronically signed document is a file with signature markings - not, for example, a printout. Please note that when you close your account, all folders, settings, documents, etc. will be deleted. They will not be available to you if you register again later.
Before terminating your subscription, you must ensure that there are no active integrations.
