Logging into Visma Sign using Visma Connect requires the use of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to enhance security. If you have not yet enabled 2FA, you will be prompted to complete the setup process when you log into Visma Sign using Visma Connect for the first time.
1. The Visma Connect 2FA setup process requires the use of an authenticator application. Visma Connect suggests the Google Authenticator application and provides download links for it, but you may also use applications such as Microsoft Authenticator.
2. Link the Account:
- Install the app of your choice on your phone.
- Add Visma Connect to the application by either scanning the QR code displayed on the screen or by manually entering the code shown in the view.
3. Write the verification code (the 6-digit code) obtained from the authenticator application into the designated field in the subsequent browser view.
4. You may choose to provide your phone number to receive 2FA confirmation codes via text message. If you choose to do so, in the next view, you must enter the verification code that arrived via text message into the reserved field.
5. Two-Factor Authentication will then provide recovery codes. You should save these codes securely, such as on your own computer or by printing them. You need these recovery codes for situations where the authenticator application is unavailable and the text message option is not working.
You have now completed the 2FA setup and are logged into Visma Sign.
Going forward, you can log in to Visma Sign using the following instructions: "Logging into Visma Sign with Visma Connect Credentials"
