Why is the invitation cancelled?

If an invitation's validity time expires, any unused invitation links will go into 'cancelled' status and cannot be reopened. You can download a document with existing signatures, but you can no longer collect the missing signature in the same document. 

If the invitation deadline has expired, you can do one of the following:

• You can create a completely new signature invitation, to which you add all parties (Select this if you want all signatures to be electronically made in the same document.)
• If possible for the agreement in question, you can create a separate addendum that references the original document. You can then create a signing invitation from this addendum for those who didn't manage to sign the original.
• If possible for the agreement in question, you can print the document with the existing signatures and collect the remaining signatures manually.

The invitation can also go into a cancelled status if someone manually cancels it via the sender's account.
