In Visma Sign it is possible to specify whether the personal identification number is asked and saved next to the signature. The sender of an invitation always determines whether or not the personal identification number is saved.

If the personal identification number is stored next to the signature, it will always be communicated to the signer before the personal identification number is entered and before the signer has authenticated. You can always contact the requesting organization for more information on the use of personal information.

Saving the personal identification number to the document  is due to financial sector requirements on identifying customers. This functionality is only available for the companies that operating country is Finland.

If you want to save signers social security number on the document next to the signature, you can turn on the option "Include SSN to signature" when creating an invitation. This option is located at the bottom right of the page and is always off by default.
