When you click on a document name in the Documents section, you are taken to the document’s details page, which includes the Contract Details section at the bottom. In this section, you can store information that helps with contract management, such as keywords, contract dates, and added parties.
Contract details are visible only to internal users within your organization; external recipients of the invitation cannot see this information. By adding contract details, you make contracts easier and faster to search, organize, and manage in your archive.
What are does adding keywords to the document do?
You can add keywords to documents to make them easier to find. For example, you can add the same keyword to all documents of a specific project. You can search for documents categorized by a specific keyword using the advanced search in the archive.
Instructions for using keywords can be found in our guide: How to use keywords?
What does adding contract dates mean?
By adding contract dates to the document, you can mark a period visible to yourself during which the contract is valid. Please note that this setting is visible only to you and cannot officially define the contract validity, as the official validity time must be included in the contract itself for the other party to see.
In the advanced search in the archive, you can search for valid contracts based on contract details or see which contracts will become valid or expire during the period you select.
Why don't I see the Contract dates -section?
If the folder properties have "contains contracts" selected, the section contract details will appear in Document details. If you do not see the option to set the validity time in document details, it is due to the folder settings. Edit the folder settings and select "contains contracts." After this, the "contract details" option will appear on the document details page.

What does the Added Parties option mean?
You can add a company, an individual’s name, or an email address as a party to the contract. Using the advanced search in the archive, you can search by contract parties to quickly and easily find all documents where a specific person or company is listed as a party.
