Visma Connect is a service that enables secure two-factor authentication for logging into Visma Sign. This guide instructs you on how to connect your existing Visma Sign account to a Visma Connect account.

If you do not yet have a Visma Connect account, one will be created automatically during the connection process.

Start the connection

1. Log in to the Visma Sign service.

2. Go to the "My information” page in Visma Sign.

3. On the page, press the "Learn more about Visma Connect" link. This opens a page providing more details about connecting to the Visma Connect account.

4. The actual linking is started by pressing the "Start Connection" button.

Connection Steps

Strong Authentication: First, you will be asked to authenticate strongly (using bank ID or mobile certificate). This step is required to verify your identity.

Email Confirmation

1. Enter the same email address that you use as your Visma Sign user ID into the field.

2. A security code will be sent to the address you provided.

3. Enter the received security code into the dedicated field and continue linking the account.

After the Connection

What happens next depends on whether you already have a Visma Connect account.

If you have a Visma Connect account: 

You will receive an email stating that it is now possible to log in to Visma Sign using Visma Connect.

If you do not have a Visma Connect account:

1. You will receive an email asking you to activate the account.

2. Clicking the link in the activation email opens a new password creation view in Visma Connect.

3. The view instructs you on creating a suitable password.

4. After creating the password, you will be directed to the Visma Sign home view.

You have now successfully connected your Visma Sign account to Visma Connect. Moving forward, logging into the service will be done securely using two-factor authentication.
